Fiona Gibson
Fiona is a person-centred integrative counsellor. She completed her counselling qualifications with the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB), the UK’s leading awarding organisation specialising in counselling, and her qualifications are recognised by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), with which she is a registered member. As a member of BACP, Fiona abides by their ethical framework.
CPCAB Qualifications:
- Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
- Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies
- Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Other Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc (Hons) Psychology Degree from the University of Plymouth – 2.1
- Online counselling – Open University (currently studying)
- CIPD Level 3 Certificate in HR
- Previous member of the mentoring scheme within the Youth Commission for Guernsey and Alderney
- Previous member of the Child Youth and Community Tribunal (CYCT)
Fiona was previously an H.R. Management Professional with 14 years’ experience in the finance industry in Guernsey, she completed her studies part-time whilst working. After supporting counselling clients on a volunteer basis for two years, Fiona decided to take the leap into pursuing her passion of helping others navigate their emotional and mental challenges full-time, which is when she founded Perfectly Human Counselling.
